Captain Dennis KNOCKED it out of the park!!!! Growing up in Miami and taking our employee’s and top performers out offshore for thirty plus years. I thought we’ve seen it all and we’ve spoiled them and enjoyed watching them catch every species out in the Atlantic. It was our joy to be up in the flybridge taking it all in with life changing experiences. Never really thought the Treasure Coast Offshore could compete. Nevertheless, my daughter and son-n-law chartered Captain Dennis of “Grocery Cart Fishing Charters” as a surprise Father’s Day Gift. The night before we were told to be at the docks in Stuart and I’ll be honest; I was totally caught off guard. The Center Console Contender was not what I expected, and it performed far beyond its size .... Beyond that our charter captain Dennis was beyond enthusiastic, working very hard to put us on the fish, and authentic in wanting to make it a successful trip for all of us. We’ve been out with a LOT of captains, but this man has a passion for fishing unlike the typical charter captain. Dennis constantly wanted to make sure we were happy with putting us on the fish. Obviously, the Sailfish was a showstopper, the Blackfin Tuna, Alcamo Jacks, and the Bonita wore us down. If the bite slowed down, he switched us up and got us onto another spot. He is a first-class professional making sure safety was a priority while catching fish and putting us on the best spots despite the changes in the weather conditions. He is a natural and he is constantly coaching and encouraging while assisting in baiting, reeling techniques, landing the fish, and doing it without being condescending. This captain is a breath of fresh air and pleasant to be around and it won’t be long before he will be booked all season long. The personal attention to everyone in my family was above and beyond. Dennis is personable and has a heart of gold and that is just not found in charter captains, everyone fishing caught fish, and he made sure of it. You cannot go wrong with Capt Dennis! He will put you on fish or keep trying until the final minutes of your trip. Never lets up!! Today we had a decent morning bite but were only able to boat one black fin due to prevailing shark activity but after a few relocations we ended up with a few black fin and some reef selections. Dennis offers a great platform for 2-4 guests and his equipment is on point. Thanks Dennis for a great day!!

We had a great day! Captain Dennis was wonderful, friendly and helpful. We wanted to catch big fish that fight and we got those fish. We caught 5 fish with 4 big black fin tuna. His boat was clean, well stocked for fishing and comfortable. Captain Dennis was patient and taught my grandkids (11 and 13) how to hold rods and real, tie fishing knots and tips for how to get fish to bite your hook. He also makes an amazing fish dip! The 4 of us on the trip rate him highly and are very willing to recommend him.

Grocery Cart Fishing Charters exceeded all expectations by far. They set a new standard that has never before, and will probably never be met by anyone else; so I'll stick with them from now on. Impressive since the first phone call providing all information needed, answering questions in detail, and working with my schedule, even choosing a fishing (conditions) favorable day. Despite some clouds and wind, he kept us dry and steady. I've never had a fishing trip feel like such smooth sailing. He accommodated 3 generations with comfort and ease. The only thing we struggled with, was being tired afterwards, from reeling in so many large fish. We caught exotics we've only seen on tv, and some we didn't even know existed. Equiped with every rod, reel, tackle, and bait necessary to succeed, they did not disappoint. Respectful in every manner; from customer service, to other boaters, and showing genuine care for our environment. Truly good people. I tried to compress this review because there were so many positives to mention, but even so I'm leaving too much out. I'm sure you get the point... You won't find a better experience, captains, accommodations, prices, or people, anywhere. Don't hesitate to book with Grocery Cart Charters, and see for yourself. Just moved from Jersey down to Florida was looking to go out on a fishing charter. We haven’t had a chance to get a boat Due to having surgery so this year, I got a break and went out on the charter with the captain Dennis I was very pleased. I had a great time. We got some blackfin tuna it was a gorgeous day sunny nice and warm end up wearing shorts and a T-shirt. Brought a little breakfast and something to drink with me Dennis was very knowledgeable very professional a pleasure to talk with I had a great time many thanks to Dennis and taking me out on a charter. It was the best. I highly recommend him.

Had a great day on the water with captain Dennis. After boating a few fish on the first drift he continued to work hard on keeping the lines tight. 10 outta 10.

Everything about this trip exceeded expectations. Captain Dennis was professional from the start, giving a thorough safety briefing and making sure we were comfortable before heading out. The boat was spotless, well cared for, and equipped with top-notch electronics and tackle. Dennis’s skill and passion showed throughout the day—he made the experience hands-on by teaching knot tying, baiting hooks, proper reeling, and how to land big fish. Despite challenging morning conditions, he kept us on the move until the action heated up. After catching plenty of Bonita, I was able to land the largest Sailfish of my life. We’ve fished with many guides and outfitters over the last decade, and Dennis truly set a new standard for professionalism and customer service. This was a first-class experience we won’t forget.

I booked the 6-hour offshore trip for my son and me, and it turned out to be the perfect length. The bite started off slow, and I was a little worried, but Captain Dennis quickly turned it around and got us on the fish. We caught so many that I lost track, including a nice Sailfish, some Kingfish, a remora, and plenty of Bonita. A massive sea turtle even came right up to the boat, which was an incredible sight. It was an all-around fantastic trip, and Dennis’s determination made the day a success. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again.

Dennis was an excellent guide! He started by thoroughly explaining the boat and all the safety equipment before we set off. His expertise in finding and catching fish was impressive, and he provided clear instructions to help us reel them in. We managed to catch Tuna and Amberjacks, making it an unforgettable trip. If we return, we’ll definitely book with Dennis again!

Captain Dennis is an incredible guide and a great person! He was fantastic with both me and my son, working tirelessly to get us on the fish and letting us do the fishing ourselves—a rare treat compared to some other charters. We’re already looking forward to our next offshore adventure with him!

Captain Dennis has a sleek, modern boat equipped with top-quality fishing gear, making for an excellent experience. He put me in the perfect spot, and I quickly hooked some Tuna and Amberjack. His expertise is unmatched, and it was an absolute pleasure fishing with him!

We had an amazing time! We caught plenty of fish and had so much fun along the way. Captain Dennis was fantastic—his expertise and ability to find the fish were impressive. It was our first offshore fishing trip, and we couldn’t have made a better choice than Captain Dennis!
